Dave Royal is based in Norwich, Norfolk, and was tutored from the age of 15 years in the art of sleight of hand, stagecraft and business in entertainment by Professor Harry Carson, himself a Gold Star Member of the Inner Magic Circle.

I would just like to say that when we were informed that a magician was going to appear at our Christmas party, I was very sceptical that it would be any good. Dave is a very engaging magician and while he was learning British Sign Language he performed one of his magic sets completely in BSL. As I am a teacher of British Sign Language, I was very impressed with how smoothly Dave performed his magic and signed to his audience.
